Amir is a founding co-CEO of Ruby Cherry EDA, with more than 20 years of software development experience in the EDA industry.  He is an expert in semiconductor design and verification flows; network computing management and optimization; version control management and administration; and DBA databases. In 2017 he founded Optimum EDA, providing a broad range of CAD services to Israeli customers. 
In 2018 Optimum merged with Ruby EDA to create Ruby Cherry EDA.

Before starting Optimum, Amir managed the CAD FE and Infrastructure team at Apple Israel, headed the system validation team at Anobit and lead the CAD team at Lucidlogix Technologies. 

Amir holds a B.Sc. in computer science from Ben Gurion University in Israel.

Tammy is the Director of Cloud Services for Ruby Cherry EDA.  She joined the company following a 25-year career in academia.  Prior to joining the company, she was a mathematics lecturer at Bar Ilan University, Harvard University and the University of Texas at Austin.  In addition to managing cloud services, Tammy works with Ruby Cherry EDA academic customers and relaxes by doing our graphic design.

Tammy holds a Ph.D. in pure mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.  Additionally, she is certified by the Israeli Ministry of Education as a teacher educator and holds post-graduate accreditation in research and evaluation in education from the Mofet Institute in Israel.  She is certified as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate.

Ronen joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2023, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the EDA industry. He is an expert in RF, Analog and mixed-signal design flows, EDA software development and design database management.

Prior to joining the company, Ronen held several senior positions in the VLSI industry in Israel: he lead the CAD development and support of the RFIC team in Qualcomm Israel; he served as the CAD manager at DSP group; and he established the CAD team in Saifun Semiconductors (now part of Infineon).

Ronen holds B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and M.Sc. in Organizational Behavior from Polytechnic University, NY.

Ariel joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2021.   He has experience in C, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.  Ariel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The Technion.  He is certified as an AWS Developer Associate.

Idan joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2024.  Before joining the company, he served in the Teleprocessing Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces as a divisional cyber manager and system administrator.  After completing his army service, Idan worked at Israel Aerospace Industries as a cyber security analyst.  Idan has experience in network forensics, bash scripting and penetration testing.

Shawn is a founding co-CEO of Ruby Cherry EDA and a 26-year veteran of the EDA industry.  He is an expert in CAD for analog and RF design, with deep knowledge of mixed-signal design flows. Before the merger with Optimum EDA that created Ruby Cherry, Shawn provided CAD services for Analog, RF and mixed signal VLSI design groups as a freelance consultant and through Ruby EDA, the CAD services company he founded in 2017.   

Shawn established Ruby EDA after a fifteen-year tenure at Cadence Design Systems, where he held technical, business and management roles in the US, Israel and Europe.

Shawn concurrently serves the academic community in Israel as the CAD Director of the Emerging Nanoscaled Integrated Circuits and Systems (ENICS) Lab at Bar-Ilan University.  He also consults for the High Frequency Integrated Circuits Lab at Tel Aviv University.

Shawn holds an undergraduate degree in physics and mathematics and an M.S. in biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania.  He also earned an MBA from the Arison School of Business at IDC Herzliya. 

Ezra joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2020 bringing more than 20 years of experience in the EDA industry, software design and VLSI physical design. Prior to joining Ruby Cherry EDA, he was a developer of CAD tools at Intel and Cadence and a VLSI physical design engineer at Sondrel.

Ezra holds a  M.Sc in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University.  He is certified as an AWS Cloud Practioner.

Roy joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2023.  He  has worked in the EDA industry for more than twenty years as a team leader or senior CAD and design  applications engineer  at VLSI companies such as  TowerJazz Semiconductor, PMC-Sierra, Intel and Western Digital.

Roy lectures at the Open University in Israel and has developed courses in programming and cyber security. 

Roy holds a B.Sc. in mathematics and computer sciences from Tel-Aviv University and an Executive MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with special honors.  He completed a supplemental thesis at Ben-Gurion University.

Tal joined Ruby Cherry EDA in 2022.  Prior to joining the company, she served in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces and worked at an automotive cybersecurity startup. She has experience in networking, virtualization, Python, Django, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.   Tal completed a B.Sc. with honors at the University of Amsterdam.
